I usually prime engine with drill to see how rockers are oiling and go from there,some darts take restrictors in front and rear, most restrictors you buy have .030''or .060'' hole in them.
If they was to not oil at oil you will need to pull lifters out and cut small groove from oil band to oil hole on lifter body, only need few thousands deep, I use mini die grinder or thinnest cut off wheel can get,may take a try or two to get oil flow you want.

With my Bowtie block and Isky Red Zone lifters, I had to do what Mike mentioned above here, to stop burning the top ends off my intake pushrods. Thanks Gary Hetler for that tip! I used a small 3 sided file. No restrictors. No more push Rod problems.
Having somebody like Mike Taylor help people here is great.

On ISKY lifter I have found sizing issues along with other builders out there, Every time I have had a customer send me those lifter I have had to get 2 sets to make up one set on one occasion it took 3 sets.

My self and alot of other guys who pay attention to detail have not been so lucky with there sizing.

They were all over the place in sizing. I called Isky they were nice enough about it, I sent them back, when Carl got the new ones they were still all over the map. So I called, they were nice about it, I sent them back again. When Carl got them for the third time and they were still all over the place in sizing, cost me $30.00 to ship them each time! Yep $90.00 in shipping, God knows because I cant remeber how much time I waited,the last set were close but had a lifter that was tapered.

It is what happened, so I hope they did get better about this issue, as it was some time ago. Now I wonder if I have the 8620 wheel, that would suck?

I probably see a few more lifters then you do, I have machined alot of lifter bores over the years and have seen about every lifter out there.

Paying attention to details pays off and when you buy ISKY lifters that are not with in a .0015 or better this is what you might see.
