I'm sorry to say that I've never sat down and took a count. It may more than a season for me and I run a few local association and bracket events. But I was told that the harder C07 lasts longer than the softer C06 lightweight radials. Don't know if that's due to being harder and/or the amount of rubber on the tires.

I like the CO7 tire, but I'm a bracket racer and not looking for every .01 I can get in ET. My belief is that the 'lightweight' is due to less usable 'meat' on the tire, but maybe the Hoosier guy who posted above can confirm that.
I don't have a run count either, but I'd guess 150 runs is close. I don't use the line-lock during the burnout. Get the tires spinning in Low, shift to High around 5500 and drive it out just a bit. |

I have used both the C07 and the C06 tires. I really don't see a downside to the lightweight tire, its a bit lighter of course, so its a bit quicker. But I got just about the same life out of each one. Great choice of tire IMO.

I personally know that when Mike Beard's Volare was a Stocker he would change tires when the cord showed! He always said they hooked the same until then. I have run mine over 80 runs with plenty left. I run the 06 tire and have run the 07 tire but I saw n difference. Jim

![]() M/T released the Pro Bracket Radial this year. They're heavier, but they have a lot more meat on them, and they're still fast. Matt Obertanec won everything under the sun this year in a mid 10-sec AMC Spirit running their 28x10.5" PBR, and it is a ridiculous ticket-printing machine. (been on the wrong side of him myself a couple times this year!) He put 300 runs on a set before taking them off. ![]() Here are the sizes available: http://www.mickeythompsontires.com/s...=BracketRadial

Well I need a set of tires right now. I want 4457 Goodyears, but I M concerned about service in Division Two since Competition Tires lost the Goodyear deal and closed. Does anybody have any insight into how we can get tires?

![]() We started running the 9x30 C06 Hoosier Radial Slicks this year. We have a high 9 low 10 sec. bracket car. We have 80 runs on them. The depth holes were.140-.150 deep when new & are .110-.120 deep now. We are going to start the new year on them. Note: We do a very slow & short burnout, a 2 one thousand count @ 4500 rpm in high gear with a glide. |

Longevity will depend on burnout style and how much power you are putting to the ground. We have had good success with the Hoosiers.
