I would say they must consider maybe changing the induction gala to a different time. That is a pretty big weekend for the sport and the people that love the sport, and always a ton of Canadians at the Dutch. Just saying...

If we get to nominate people how about Graeme Yanocko.
He did race too but his fame is more from getting the drag races at Edenvale going. I met him before he died at his cabin in Wasaga Beach. He had a "lifetime achievement" award for the sport of drag racing given to him in the 50's! Ron Farmer would be another. Track operators should be a big part of the recognition. |
