Bruce thanks for the smart *** comment. I just looked through the stock qualifying sheets for the last few years and see you like to play the class HP game by changing classes and slowing your car down intentionally. Maybe you could speak to Jim on how you do this. As an fan of stock eliminator older model year cars, I think it's sad when someone continually and intentionally beats up on a combination and eventually makes the combination uncompetitive and of no interest for a new comer to the stocker eliminator class to build. Everyone knows Jim has a fast car and has always had fast cars but wouldn't a competitor like to keep a little something in his "pocket" when needed?

Fred,
You made the comment that you do not race Stock. The difference is a performance based class like Stock and Super Stock, Jim and anyone like him has worked hard at something that we all strive for in these two classes. He races the car the way he wants to, and to beat him you better have brought enough. What's to say he is showing all of his cards? It takes time and money to race in these classes and be at the top of the pack, and I would say he has shown everyone he does not have a soft combo, and is willing to show its potential. This is in no way intended to be an attack, just the facts that true Stock/SS racers wanting to show off their hard work, and also be legal when doing so. That right there is what this sport is all about. Congratulations to Jim and his team. Way to show everyone how its done, and you have many people's respect for it! Sean
