Rick, yes there had been discussion of Mustang, Camaro, Charger,Challenger and no Jelly beans or wt break for Normal cars versus FWD had been discussed.
Motor was the starting point. Original idea was a lb/ cubic inch with specified Heads each model, limited crank, cam and springs to limit need for other exotic parts. Same carbs and manifold. Limit ignition,

The roundy-round guys tried that and called it iroc...and it sucked big time! A whole crap load of identical cars and identical drivetrains...course you'd be happy dick, they were camaro's and they ran sbc's.


Crap, I just realised that by responding to this rediculous thread, it'll go back to the top and no doubt dick will once again re-iterate why the class is dying/no real racers anymore/doom/gloom
