With a project like the Super 10 a number of things are vital. One on the most vital pieces of the project is good help.

Because of good help the Super 10 has progressed from a S - 10 "core" to an almost read to race package in about 10 months.

My friend Monte is one of the vital help links. His fabrication skills and ideas and accuracy and experience are priceless.

Tonight we finalized the bed cover. Just a few details and it is finished. It will have a Dzus button on each rear corner and a captured prop rod when finished.

Just now I am concentrating on items necessary to race at the Texas Motorplex July 25th.

The longer range schedule is D 4 Lucas race in September at Thunder Road.

I'm not laughing, Rich. I had this happen on the rear quarter windows of my 68 coupe and had to replace the entire mechanism. Talk about a PIA to get to. And no "Bolt on electric windows from a junk yard Blazer" for me, either.../whine/...

I recommend the "internal hex" Dzus buttons. Try them, you'll like them. Easy to snap locked and much less chance of the tool slipping and gouging the paint.

In an earlier post I mentioned the necessity of having help. I am blessed to have a core group that will rally to the deadline and get the small items taken care of.

#230 is "Flash" bolting up the catch/recovery can

#231 is Dr Watkins detail supplies

#235 is Watkins himself.

You know things are coming together when washing, vacuum, and wax are on the short list.
