Default Magazine and VHS tape collection

I have decided to sell my father’s car magazine collection. There are at least a full 8 foot bed truckload of these. It is not a complete collection (he went thru phases, lol) nor is every one perfect but many are; they were ones he purchased over the years. Lots of early drag racing thru the 70’s. Everything from the mini books in the 50’s to anything I have bought to date. I’m guessing minimum of 4000 magazines and roughly half from the 70’s back. Some titles; Car Craft, Hot Rod, Super Stock and Drag Illustrated (many doubles), Super Chevy, Cars, Hot Cars, Drag Racing USA, National Dragster, IHRA Drag Review, Drag Racer Magazine, Street Scene, Popular Hot Rodding, Street Rodder, Drag Racing, Hemmings, Hemmings Muscle Cars, Performance Racing Industry, Rod and Custom and many others. Some Springnationals programs from 70s and 80s. I want to be fair and move them all at once, think $1000 for all of them is a good deal for everyone.

I also have a huge tote of VHS tapes of drag racing and other racing from the 80s and 90s. Some Diamond P; 85 world finals, gathering speed and Garlits. Some NHRA annuals; 91-94 and 40 us nationals. Others are taped from TV, like movies: Wheels of Fire, Hot Rod Girl, Christine, Fabulous Floppers; Hot Rod History; and Birth of Drag Racing (4 Volumes). Some tapes of Springnationals when DTV did pay per view all day coverage. Lots of drag race coverage shows as well as speed vision shows like Muscle Cars and American Thunder. Some Bonneville stuff. Counted 60 tapes but may add more as I find them, 150 plus hours of drag racing history. $100 plus shipping.

I am in Raleigh, NC if you want to check them out when at VMP next weekend. Give me a call 919-961-8505.
