Acres of pavement Brent...you won't be anywhere near grass unless you choose to do so.

No transmission to go with so no racing this weekend. I do have the new bullet primed and ready to drop in tm. I need to fabricate a new alternator bracket soon...never have been satisfied with the fit of the current setup. Pay no attention to my rat nest garage.

Stocker engine back in the bay where it belongs. Notice was served today that nothing further goes into the Camaro that is not Stock Eliminator oriented. Partner's string of failed experiments has cost me valuable time and the inability to attend the opening race of the season...this won't happen again. If he wants to play I'll buy him an old SS or GT big tire roller if need be.
Any suggestions or links to a good alternator bracket welcomed before I try whittling one out myself. Thanks to Alan Nyhus for those Dynatech headers. I don't know how they will perform, but they are hands down the best fitting headers I have ever owned. Can get a socket or box-end wrench on every bolt save one behind number one cylinder. ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]()

For an alternator bracket, I bolted a tab to the subframe 'lip' and bolted a shortened stock alternator adjuster bracket to that. The power wire is insulated with1/4" vacuum tubing and goes through the subframe holes to the battery side. It's low, out of the way and low buck. ![]() ![]()

I see we have similar thoughts, with different approaches, on crankcase pressure.......
