It's about time for some good weather - last weekend was Mother Nature at her worst - Indy snowed out, Budds Creek rained out, Valdosta and Ennis blowed out. Even Vegas had its moments, but they managed to get that one finished on time. I'm ready for a nice, uneventful weekend of racing, both at Belle Rose and at Rockingham.

That's the best forecast I've seen for a race that I'll be working since last summer. Can't wait to visit your track Pat! See ya Friday! [:-happy-:]

Parked today, some rain early 5 6 am. Rapidly drying. Should be a real Cajun Spring Spell for the duration. Large crawfish. Cold beer. Fun Race tomorrow.

I parked this morning at about 8am. a few puddles left from a monsoon that hit early morning. By this afternoon 90% dried up and the track is beautiful! Parked near "The captain" who is already flogging his wagon. Also "The Don" stopped by to say hi while I was raising my Florida flag. Shaw pulled in with the Caddy and walked over and started talking smack already! Everybody here is so nice and helpful, both on and off the track. This community realy embraces the racers.
Jim Wahl 6 Time National record Holder 2239 BF/S I miss Buster Couch also! 'cause Div.2 will always be "Buster's Rebels"

Jim,
I called Bob Shaw and he said you were the one talking smack. It's darn tough to get a straight story out of you 2 old guys! Best of luck to both of you down there in Cajun Country! Marty
