We as racers when we can't be at the races do enjoy live reports and reading the posted sheets. I know that's why I don't mind doing it when I can. Sometimes it's tough to do when we're racing especially with two cars but we try our best. If I'm at a track I have no problem doing this but maybe more racers can step in at other divisions to post qualifying sheets that DRC doesn't do until at the end of the day and report on weather conditions. And even though DRC can't be at every race we still appreciate what they do.

How in the world did we ever survive when we had to wait for National Dragster to show up in the mail box ?

I remember calling the track to find out the class winners back in the eighties. Seriously though all these LIVE FROM reports are truly appreciated and always well done, especially when accompanied by pictures. Thanks !

Or when you had to call 1-800-NHRANOW....that was always fun and an interesting Phone Bill.

I enjoy what Patsy & Larry Hill, Mike Beard, Jack M. and everyone else does and I'm not knocking them at all because they do a great job but, sometimes when you suffer a tough first round loss, your not sitting around to wait to see who wins, you want to get home because some have to work on Monday or you want to get home to family so you never do get the results fully. This site helps keep those who are not at the track informed as to whats going on and up to date. As a .90 racer our thread gets posted on about once a week, if that and we don;t have any live reporters to post who did what so be glad that those racers take the time out of a busy weekend to take pics and post sheets. I'm just saying take the minute say something good about this site, be glad they take the time and effort to report this stuff to us all in a quick fashion and if you can help support it in anyway....do it! When DRC & Northeast Drag Race are gone we will go back to the stone age and have to wait 2 weeks for a National Dragster....In which I just got today 2 1/2 weeks after the Phoenix event.

I would really love to see the qualifying sheets show what was run each round rather than only if someone improves on order. How hard is it for NHRA's computer to calculate that out besides the current round by round order to the final list?

Let me ask you guys something.....

What information are you not getting now that would be useful to you?

What information must you get quickly in order for it to be useful to you and what would be useful a day or two after the event?

Thanks,

Jim
