On the GM gaskets if the parts guy will let you look thru the stack "Mic" them all and you might find some as thin as .020-.021"---Comp 387

Use the gasket that was made for a 283, Stock GM #3995633. They are slightly smaller in the bore and usually measure around .021". I just bought some late this summer, so they are still available.

Cometic makes any bore size. I use them on our 283 stocker.

3995633 is the gasket to use, Jerry correct me here but I think that gasket is for a 307. But
they are still available and can be stacked if needed without any problem. I remember the last batch that I bought being .017 but that was several years ago.
