ATF fluid, it's not for gain. It is for constantly cold versus warm.

With a couple of guys stating they are using ATF, 10-40W motor oil, & John Deere lubricants in their 3rd members it got me thinking now whether or not the OEM's are still using 80-90W gear lube in their pick up trucks or are they using some other formulation that is lower in viscosity to reduce frictional losses.
