He was something like .018 from being the first person in 40 years to win in his debut in Pro Stock. Cool customer for sure! It's refreshing to see a team with serious resources step up from Sportsman Racing and play with the big boys.

Guess the days of paying your dues are over. Just write a check...and have Dad sign it.

Grose was the REAL story of PS.

cudadoug, What are you talking about? All of the Skillman family are good hard and smart working people. Drew had a great day at the races, so please don't pour cold water on him.

Sour grapes from a key board jockey, cudadoug. Fantastic debut for the Skillmans. They worked for it.

I was very happy to root for Drew in Pro Stock this weekend it gave me a reason to want to watch Pro Stockl but i know where he's coming from with this since Drew is a teammate to Erice Enders in Elite Motorsports. It does help to have engines from the fastest team in the class but he still did a great job driving nonetheless.

Joey Grose is a real good story too since they build their own engines but they did have Tommy Utt helping them too which is big.

I thought it interesting that both of the Pro Stock finalists came up from the Stock Eliminator ranks. Even the announcers were commenting on that. I think that says a lot for the caliber of drivers in Stock.
