DeMarzo's Nova for sure. Also consider Dean Ribiero's Camaro (although I think it has a new owner now). Dean was running 11.0s in bracket mode towards the end of the season.

How about a Jr. Stock race at one of the Opens in Division 1? Seems to be a lot of guys that can get to G/H weight. Call it 11.25 and we could have a great show.

Mike are you going to set this up for Atco Open? I like it and would love to see a Jr. stock race happen.

Rod,
Same difficulties would exist now that did when Dave Ley ran it a while back. While there are many guys that could run very fast the list of excuses never ends. I can't run with so-and-so, I don't want to beat on my stuff, I don't want to give up my time shots for the eliminator. I think we could put together a killer field at 11.25 if everyone jumps in and plays. An abridged tech for the winner that I'm sure one of the tech guys would be happy to do but racers seem to forget we are in a performance-based class. You, Ronnie, Demarzo, curcio, Parker, fetch, perrone, Oakes, Richards, weber, and so on. You would need a commitment beforehand from at least 12 cars for an 8 car field as at least 4 will bail on you 2 days before. I would be happy to organize if there was enough interest but there will not be.

Jamie looks like we'll be the two newbies in division 2. I got a 3rd generation camaro but mine is a FI car, its already made appearance with Steven Rowe driving it. I plan on hiding out in I or J, lol.

Parker vs Wahl would be a interesting run. I have personally seen Wahl's car run 6.80 in I @ 3500 ft!

Couple other fast 360's out there: Pollard & Pitt/Ridenhour. Though I think DeMarzo and Butcher are easily the quickest cars in the class.
My car could compete too...if they let me run downhill at a 6% grade with a 30 mph tailwind. lol

Butchers Car. Or Dean Ribeiro's former ride. Dean went 10.90 in H/SA at epping Just shy of I/SA Weight, with lots of Heavy oil in it.

I think, the thing to watch, will be the new cars. The Camaros, Challengers, and Mustangs. I'm not talking COPO, DragPacs, or Cobra Jets. I'm talking "showroom" stockers. As they become approved and are given horsepower numbers, many may / will fit into traditional stock classes. Even with smaller throttle bodies than the factory race cars, they're gonna be fast. Probably in F- G - H/stock, for sure, maybe even lower(or higher).
