Rich, ramp trucks are 'way cool. There's one on ebay right now that would look pretty sweet with your Camaro on it. -Al

I shot the fellow with the ramp truck an email asking the current mileage on the engine...it's a '96 Turbo Cummings.
Edit: He replied with 130,000 miles...calling in the morning. ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]()

Got up this morning and just could'nt enthuse myself to drive four hours to go look at the truck. It appears to be a good one, but heck I could buy a complete Jericho set-up for the car for $7500. If it were closer I might have talked myself in to it. Here is the ad if anyone else wants to bite... http://atlanta.craigslist.org/nat/cto/4691276882.html

That looks like a heck of a truck... That thing wouldnt even know your car was on it! My grandpa(RIP) installed one , in a '79 F350 Ford, single cab, long bed...wasnt a dually... it was 359 cube Cummins TUrbo...That is the meanest truck i have ever seen...it would pull 2 tractors on a 36+ foot gooseneck trailer, like it was nothing.... and it was awesome on fuel... around 20mpg.....

Finally got the 327 sorted out...not a bad little motor considering it was built for the street.
http://vid434.photobucket.com/albums...pssjoh1dtx.mp4 After clicking off a string of 7.36 time slips during time trials this evening I naturally put a 7.36 dial on the car for first round of eliminations. For some unknown reason it took a voodoo turn and dropped two numbers in 60' and broke out with a 7.34 on the brakes killing 2mph from the previous time trial run...who knows what mph I really killed. Partner was convinced it would repeat so he bought back in. I was not convinced at all especially when he wanted a 7.32 on the glass for second round, but it was his money so I obliged. Went red and ran it out just like a trial and it went right back to where it had been all afternoon with a 7.36 . One of these days maybe he will start listening to the driver lol. The car just doesnt leave hard like it used to and I have yet to figure out why. Maybe by the time I get the other motor together this spring I will have found something. Good consistent car except for that one fluke run. ![]()

Rich , did you make that panel, where your heater controls, and radio were? Or did you buy it? Im gonna take my radio out, and can buy a delete plate, but would consider removing the heater controls, too, if i can make that area look as good as yours does....
