They must be good tires to have sold out so completely. Somewhere in some dark warehouse there has to be some of those tires. Unfortunately, the mission to find them is daunting.

You ain't wrong. They are great tires, especially for the price. They were so good they had to stop making them evidently. There have not been too many choices in that size for a while. It's the same tire that fits the "high performance" version of the Corvette from around 1984 to 1990 or so, on a 16" x 9" wheel.
