Are the factory cars going to be protected from getting horsepower this year like last?

Any body know if the factory show down cars can go as fast as they want with out the AHFS giving them horse power. There were 7 cars on the qualify sheet that went faster than 1.20 under the factory show down index. Are the factory index the same as what they would be if they were in there normal class as in weight and index the same?

WEIGHT BREAKS: 300-450 CID NATURALLY ASPRIATED- 3000#, 451+ NATURALLY ASPRIATED- 3575#, ALL SUPERCHARGED – 3675# 3. ABOVE WEIGHT BREAKS INCLUDE DRIVER 4. STOCK ELIMINATOR RULES ( EXECPT WEIGHT BREAKS ) ALL CARS MUST PASS NORMAL TECH 5. AUTOMATIC AND MANUAL TRANSMISSION CARS RUN TOGETHER 6. 9.90 INDEX 7. CLASS ELIMINATIONS- HEADS UP-400 PRO TREE 8.
