Well the party has started and Dan's house is now a parking lot. I think we need the Red Man to organize the parking, the lawn will never be the same. Most the family's are done for the night and the teens are starting to gear up, am sure it will be loud night.

Dan's in very good spirits, being a people person he lives for this kind of stuff. Me, well as you can see by the parking I will not be the valet for the next get together, it was pretty much the only reason I was invited. I have never been on anyone's A list.

Billy Leber did show up, he is an A lister but I missed getting a photo.

Tomorrow we are off to do some testing in the Nova and the COPO.

His house is sitting on a mountain... compared to what we have in south texas.

Party time is over and we headed to Empire Dragway in Leicerter New York to test the COPO. Its a nice track, IHRA used to have its National event here.

The photos show some of the track, its very large and can acomidate a NHRA size national event. It would be nice to see a division race here, I heard they have new owners.

Back to racing, Dan made only three passes, and was pleased. Unfortunately I am not at liberty to post the et's, but the COPO is very consistent.

My next post will be two in car camera videos, I'm editing them now and they will be up shortly.

The second video has a little vibration at the end caused by the camera touching the door panel.

Here is some more photos. Thomas Fletcher is S10 bracket truck and Timothy Fletcher in his Super Street Nova. I spotted Pete D'Agnolo in his Beautiful 79' orange Malibu bracket car. Pete competes in division 1 Super Stock and has one national win and the Northern Class Nationals win so far this year.

What class does the COPO run and will it get wrapped in the Peak color scheme....

Dan still had his EFI LT-1 at E-town a number of years ago and I struck up a conversation with him.....he was looking forward to getting away from the FI car and said he was building another 69 Camaro for Stock.....

Obviously something changed his mind about EFI and with the way they run it is not surprising.....

It will look good in Peak blue......in the winners pictures....
