This is an issue with tablets and cell phones. It has to do with your play store, where you would get apps. Downloading certain apps can cause these ads to pop up.

You would need to remove the app, but that may be a problem becuase you might not know which app it is. You can also get apps to block these pop ups. Just type in pop up blocker in the play store on your android phone or the app store on your iphone.

If your getting pop up ads on PC's or laptops, you could have a virus. I do not allow advertisers to use pop up ads.

It has happened on both my phone (droid) and on my PC. Virus scan shows clean. Since people experiencing this issue are on the same site, and getting the same redirect, it sounds like an advertiser is breakin' the rules.

I have contacted the advertising companies and told them about this issue. I am not getting any pop up ads on my pc or cell phone. Are the ads different, or are the only from worlds of warcraft. I have sent a request to ban all advertising from blizzard entertainment, which owns warcraft.

Very frustrating, but it didn't happen every time. When it did happen, I would just leave the site and comeback later and no problem. Seems O.K. today.

I told Ken of this a couple of months ago and after further investigation I have found that it is related to an adware virus on individual computers. Still don't think it has anything to do with this site. These have been an ongoing problem for a while now. Just my 2C worth. Jim
