The All Star Racing Association will run the last regular race of the season on Sunday October 14th at New England Dragway, Epping NH. This race is the rescheduled September 15th race that rained out.
The ASRA Shootout that was previously scheduled for Lebanon and postponed because of "PINKS" will be run after the regular race on the 14th -IF TIME AND CONDITIONS ALLOW- The track and the ASRA board will make that decision during the day on October 14th This is a change of location as the shootout is suppose to be at Lebanon this year. We contacted them and they gave the OK as they understood the rescheduling issues. If we are unable to run the shootout on the 14th we only have one last chance and that is the last weekend of October and the shootout would then move to Lebanon. The pairings for the shootout and all other details related to the running of the shootout will be sorted out on the day of the event. For the third year in a row, Don Pires Sr and his shop Andrade Automotive have made a generous donation to the shootout. We thank Don, and urge you to do the same at our next event. Thanks, Don,Dan,Howard,George,Dave & Bob ,the ASRA Board

Justin,
I can't speak for anyone but myself. My opinion is that the primary objective at the event should be to finish the regular race as fair as possible. We have a very very close points race and this race is the decider. Rushing anything just to try and get the shootout in is not my idea of fair. I hope that we can get both done, but there is always one more chance if we don't. Will you be at NED this weekend for the Chevy race ? Dave

Is the 14th open to non-members as well? Maybe I'll do that instead of the Dutch. Was going to go to PA to try for the record, but FI records are getting wiped away at the end of the year.

Earle,
Our regular races are always open to all nhra and ihra s/ss racers. You don't need to join to race. Members pay 350 at the begining of the year and race for a purse that is 1000 to win, down to 50 for 2nd rd losers. Non members race for 400 to win, down to 25 for 2nd rd losers. All racers pay around 50 at the gate at each race. The only ASRA event not open to everyone is the annual shootout which is free to the top 16 points earners after 5 races and it pays according to money collected but often 1000 to win. hope to see you there Dave
