As I recall, Super Comp and Super Gas were to have first round on Saturday, but couldn't because of rain. (maybe Top Sportsman and Top Dragster, also) Regarding standing water, they had a truck sucking up the water from the standing lake behind the grand stands, on the way to the staging lanes.....

It is what it is.....obviously, everyone would like to run, cool down, and run again.....that isn't happening. From my perspective, they were running as quickly as possible with very few oil downs...(less the vette crash)...

All in all, for a scheduled 3 day event to get pushed into 2 days, and run until 10 PM on Sunday.....I am OK with that....others may disagree.

For what it is worth, I thought 4-5 Q runs was excessive....3 is good.

Hi to the wheelstanding rwd Gary H., and it was good to see you out there even though sadly without your car too! 3 time runs is what I expected, but given the entry fee we're paying nowadays, I'm greatful that Stock was able to get 5 Q's in before 1st rnd (not that they did me any good in rnd 2 against Jimmy after that 7hr wait), because it helped my cause in my 1st rnd race!

Brett, I'm curious to know why we had to wait 7hrs from rounds 1-2 as well??? I think that term "the forgotten step-children" came into play "AGAIN" for us, and otherwise you were spot on with the other categories not feeling near the pain we felt for their getting multiple rounds run inbetween our 1st & 2nd rounds!

I'll agree with "the wheelstanding rwd" Gary H., that "it is what it is", but wonder does it have to be that way???
