Just wrapping up a National Dragster feature that showcases some of the rarest, most incredible muscle cars ever built. All of the cars featured have impeccable pedigrees and they are all still active in NHRA Super Stock and Stock racing. The print edition has five cars that could easily fund a nice home in most markets and I'm planning an online gallery that will feature several more really cool and rare vehicles. Stay tuned.

Thumbs up Re: The most valuable/desirable Stock and Super Stockers

How about John Armstrongs SS/AA Corvette. Would love to see it in mineshaft conditions and glued to a surface with teeth like Mission. Bet ya it would be quite the number.

We still occasionally run our 71 Boss 351 Mustang in D/S. It may not be the most valuable car by any stretch but it is pretty rare. 1806 were built and less then 600 are still accounted for. We don't run it often mainly do to the fact it still has the numbers matching block in it. It has been a stocker since the late 70's. We have everything to restore the car back to street use which will hopefully be taking place in the next couple years.
