I just arrived home from helping Kip's daughters go thru things at the house.Wanted all of you to know, they have really enjoyed all the things everybody has wrote here on class racer.
As others have wrote on here, Kip was a classical pianist, total authority on figure and roller skating, and a certified pilot.Here in the last few years he had really took on bike riding and enjoyed timing how long it would take him to go X amount of miles (imagine that!)
Keep the stories rolling in guys, his daughters are having a ball reading them

When I lived in new Mexico I use to meet Kip where ever we were going to race and always did a side tour sight seeing one time we met in Gallup New Mexico at the same cafe . One time we stopped to look at the huge Creator going to phoenix, also during that trip not only Kip was a Good skater ,liked Classical music, one night during this road trip we both went out with Randy at Lamb Components' and that night after a few strong beverages ,even though Kip hardly even indulged Randy, Kip and I because expert dancers at some fifties sixties place at least we thought were were lol at this , That night we even learned how to close the place down ,wow that was about 30 years ago or more
