Each week they make a new Facebook post about a test & tune, but never give a date even a full week out. This week they cancelled. This might be it.

Pine Valley says on Facebook that they have added the Division 4 Summit Pro-Am race to their schedule, same dates, March 14 - 16.

Pine Valley is also shown as the track for that event on the IHRA website.

Dallas Raceway is no longer listed on IHRA's track list. Doesn't look good.

I raced there once about 4 years ago and remember it being ... well, not very nice. Has it improved since then? I'm actually kind of surprised that they could even hold a Pro Am. Isn't it 1/8 mile?

Hey Scott,

not only has Pinevalley hosted several pro ams over the years, they hosted the Div 4 team finals twice. Is it as nice as Dallas Raceway was.....no, not many tracks are, but it is a good facility and the track surface is good and the owners are great people who love racing and the most important part.......they are still open. I say Kudos to them for stepping up!

I don't remember it being much. Was 1/4 mile then. Is it still 1/4 mile?

The track surface is excellent. The rest could use a little TLC but ive been to worse. At least it isn't in July. The last proam I went to was and it was 98 degrees and 90% humidity. Miserable and I mean miserable.
