Haven't even budgeted for shocks yet. Just commenting that this will be one of the more difficult parts to come by. Like you told Joe Toller, finding parts for 40 year old Fords can be a challenge. When you pick a body style that was not as mass produced as a Maverick/Comet. The challenge gets heavier. On top of that, I haven't much done anything with a Ford as a race car since the 70's. I started with no Ford parts lying around.
Biggest thing with this car is to keep it in focus. Make a plan and stick to it. Keep the car in runnable condition thru each phase. Start at the rear and work forward. The only item we've stepped out of bounds so far, is an aluminum fuel cell. We got that cheap, pure stumble upon deal.
