Some guys just won't run IHRA. If I have time, and there is one close, I have run with them. Never a bad experience. Officials are great. Track prep is great. Just nobody to race. Six to ten SS cars is just nuts. Same cars I see at NHRA races.
Usually only hitters show up. LOL

It was nice enough to probably get (if it were NHRA) to get a points race if it were big enough to hold all the cars. One shop I tune for does work for the ownner of a Div 4 track that converted from IHRA, and had NHRA LODRS races. He said he made more off his one LODRS race than any precious year with IHRA. Said his weekly shows drew more cars. Been to Crandell a couple of times. Kinda wondered how it was going to make any money. Was a very nice little track.
