Did anyone ever actually use the 250? Nowadays that would be crazy when a 302 is factored at less HP. How did it get 145hp to begin with?

Pretty sure nobody has run a 250 as it has the same head/intake and carb size as a 200 plus it apparently has oiling issues. (I looked into it once upon a time) 145hp was the stock hp.
Same reason people run a 302 but not a 351W 2bbl. Bad enough top end for 302 cubes let alone another 49!

Not to highjack a thread, but Billy, didn't you say at one time even the bigger ports/valves of a 351M don't help and it's a bad combo too?
