I think this is the car that put the hurt on that combo BUT it was a while ago. 8. Rob Youngblood, Nampa, Idaho, D/S '71 Mustang, 10.698 (-1.102) He races a Vette now.

Billy,
Did some research. The 71 is the same engine rated @ 240 in both sides of the classification guide. The 70 has a little more cam, carb, & compression & is @ 250. I dug out an old old Motor's manual & looked up the 70 & it also had it rated @ 250 @ 4600 & torque was 355 @ 2600. Since apparently Ford had this thing (71,72) @ 240 do you think NHRA will go below that ?
