YES ! The ONLY way to control it is by putting a limit on valve spring pressure now. Looks like the pure stock guys took it in the shorts.

Hey Terry,,,,
they have rescinded the rule change .. and have clarified it for the newer car owners

so there you go, same cam rules as before , no changes to valve spring rules....

Pages 48 and 49

the previous discussions here about changing valve spring rules were a reaction to the now reversed camshaft rule change. A spring change was never officially in print, just bantered about here and thru e mails to Mike B at IHRA........
So I guess that closes Pandora's Box lol.........

So, there are no valve spring rules in print...only cam spec's.

OK........I didnt see that anywhere. Only saw the duration and overlap was "Optional"

If you need the specs for your combo, Contact IHRA tech for the Blueprint tech sheet. that will give you all the info, cam and springs, etc.
