-32 with the windchill yesterday, now it's -20 with the windchill and snowing like ****! Already blew the driveway out and when I was done there was another 2" already down again. Winter sucks. I'd rather watch storms on the weather channel than the front window. LOL!

Global warming...heard about a month ago the ipcc put out their latest report and one of the "denier" scientists asked why in the last 13 years (2000-2013) there was no discernable warming and in fact there was a cooling trend. They went crazy on him and said 13 years isn't enough to prove a trend. He responded,"but you used 13 years (1985-1998) to "prove" there was global warming! They wouldn't respond after that...funny huh?

Oh, and it's not just the USA's fault, it's any western, democratic, capitalistic, RICH country that's to blame. Because after all, if your rich, you must of done something illegal or immoral, there's no other way in their minds.

I better get off the soap box, this really gets me going...and I'm not "rich" by any means!

8 degrees this morning in Bridgeport, CT when I was shoveling the 6 inches of "global warming" out of my driveway; going down to zero tonight. Nothing like the Feb.8-9, 2013 blizzard when we got 30 inches of "global warming".

All of the schools will be closed in Minnesota on Monday because of the cold and wind chill. Huge front of Artic air is going to cross us. What a crazy place to live! Dyno

Gonna be (-22) on Sunday here in Indy and another 8 to 12 in of snow- High on Monday (-10)- Leaving for Immakalee on the 25th if I can get out !

A regular vacation paradise. I wonder if it ever gets hot for a month or two during the summer .

As far as this global warming debate....I heard that no matter what the US does concerning the reversal of global warming trends..until other countries get involved, its a push. I think whatever California does in one year to clean up the air is negated by one days 'business as usual' manufacturing in china. China even has to close down some cities for a day or so because of bad air.
In the interim, until the 'powers that be figure out if there is such a thing as global warming and if we all want to work together on it....bundle up, stay warm, enjoy the season. It is wintertime after all.
BTW...-27 the past few days in Syracuse NY and I was outside working in it. ITS COLD!
