The lines to visit Bob at his trailer were amazing, that he called Dan showed why there were lines.

That we get to race and visit with Dan, now that's pretty darn cool too!
Both are some of the many great folks we get to visit with racing.

Bob and Dan are both true champions of our sport. Bob remembered me from when i was a kid stalking him around the race track when i spoke with him while he worked for Jim Cunningham. And Dan, no one can say anything bad about him. Norwalk nats (ihra) one year its getting late he had to run Robin Running and her trans broke. He sat and waited at the back of the lanes and said he would not move forward till they made him. All you saw were people all over trying to fix Robins car. I helped, we got it done at the last minute and they raced. He could have taken the easy win with a bye to the final but he just isnt that type of guy. And yes in one year he owned me 3 times at 3 ihra nationals all in late rounds. Still to this day i dont know anyone who has ill feelings for either one.

The photo of Tom Fletcher was taken by me , Lynn Morton , in the mid 70's at the now defunct Utica-Rome Dragway in Vernon , NY .
