Wasn't this one of those combinations that really woke up when the camshaft rules were changed to allow any duration?

Probably the carb/intake more than the cam? 600ish to 780.

Aluminum intake and 780 Holley made the big difference. Keith Craft was fast even before the camshaft came along. Youngblood's car was a Boss 351, which is a different animal.

How about Dean Cook did'nt he set a few records in a 72 H.O. and Bob Kemp in a 71.
