How much is good air worth?

Regarding O2 Sensors..
For some reason the Left Failed.
Replaced both and saved the good one.

The SS uses 93 Octane.
Couple racers prefer Shell over Sunoco.
Need to know more..why?

At Mason Dixon Dragway can get 100 Octane Sunoco.
When the car is right the 100 Octane is not needed.

Wondering if tuning to 100 octane would be helpful?
