The Stick cars are still out there. Take a look at S/ SS qualifying @ Great Bend Div. 5 Pts race. looks like 7 out of 30 SS cars & 7 out of 50 stockers are sticks. Adger Smith

You're right Adger. The Division 5 guys love their stick cars. I bought the Mustang because Rick wanted a stick car. Amazingly enough, when I talked to the seller in Louisiana about selling the Mustang, he'd had four calls on it. One was from California, and the other three were from South Dakota.

I think several people have misunderstood the intent of my original post. I don't feel that stick cars are a dying breed and I am not scolding anybody that owns one for not showing up at Atlanta. I was just surprised that no stick car is in the line up. Statistics prove that stick cars win more races for the number of cars/rounds raced.
