When will the All-Star Racing Association get together with The East Coast Stock/SuperStock Association for a race? With all the great cars that run in both associations, I would think that it would make for a great race?
Maybe the board members of both associations could get together & plan one? One year at they're track of choice, the next year at yours? Just a thought? Greg |

they blew another game for matsuzaka, what else is new. That one homer off Beckett last night was his one mistake, and he pretty much made Jeter look like a fool afterwards.
Did you notice Giambi's excellant feilding the first game? lol, good thing he juices otherwise he'd be a terrible hitter too!

Telling it like it was When Jonathan Papelbon woke up yesterday morning after blowing the game for the Red Sox against the Yankees, he hit the snooze button once. Then twice. And a third time. Normally, the reliever would sleep in. But Papelbon made a commitment to attend a clinic with a bunch of young kids from Boston, and he kept his promise before the team's 10-1 win. "It was tough getting up and getting out of bed," he admitted. "But I promised those kids. It's kind of funny. They were all in bed by the time I pitched [Friday night], so they started asking me all sorts of questions. "They were saying, 'Hey, I saw we lost the game. What happened?' So I had to tell 'em, 'While you were all sleeping nice and tight in your beds, I went out and lost the game for us.' " Papelbon said his students were wide-eyed as he relayed the gory details of his performance. "But then I told them, 'Good teams pick each other up after a game like this,' " said Papelbon, who didn't pitch yesterday. "And that's what we ended up doing." |

Greg Man you are thinking I couldnt of said it better myself.......... Hmmmm.... What a way to build the all stars up more than they are.. Also it would add alot to east coast racing As far as woking it in it could be done at the opens and the division races You wouldnt have to have many rounds at each to make it happen You could start with the best 6 from each to start and make it work from there It could even be done at several races If you build it they will come............

Thought I'd get a rise out of Mr. Superstock for posting?
The reasoning is that racers in both organizations "wont cross bridges" "Thats why we have Divisionals & National Opens" You could even have a race within a race, "The Brat-Pack" vs "The Wolfpack"? After Englishtown last year the "Brats got spanked on the practice tree! (gave up they're "Doo-Rags") Mark has a "good point" have a race like this on any Sunday after a National Open? Why not? An East Coast Stock/Superstock/All-Star Racing Shootout would be a BLAST? |
