I agree too.... There are ALOT of primadonnas in the class ranks that want to be "the last pair" for whatever reason I dont know. GET OVER IT you are not "john Farce" but it does bring up an interesting point......enough racers lagged behind to force NHRA to reshuffle the order and affect the program....imagine if we could unite like that to force NHRA to make them change how we are treated and paid out.....now that would be something....LOL who am I kidding....never happen.

I always liked being the 3rd or 4th pair out. But on several occasions was hung out waiting for the primadonna to show up. If I were racing I would welcome blocking the lanes after 3rd call.

The primadonnas are lagging to watch, gather data, and set their game plan from the first ones down the track. They will arrive just in time to make the round. How about all cars in the lanes before any go down the track? Stand by call 15 min before first call, lanes closed 10 min after first call and preschedule first 6 pair. Car count may dictate one side of ladder at a time.

I'm gonna say this. We're here. We are staying at a hotel courtesy of our sponsor. The reason I made this post is because there was no info at the track when I left @ 6 pm. I was told that nothing was availible. I thought maybe someone at the track would have an update. As of 5 am there was still no run schedule on DRS. On the Div.7 website all it said was "Eliminations begin at 8:30 am" . I didn't tell Austin, I just let him think 8 am as previously done. We were there in plenty of time. We were in the first 12 cars to the lanes. Our opponent took a little bit to get there. There was absolutlely no reason for the Div.7 director to get "pissy" about what happened. First, no schedule was posted as to who was 1st out. Fri. it was Stock. Sat. it was S/St. Second, every racer I talked to "assumed" that racing started at 8:30, although nobody knew who was 1st out. They called for Stock at 7:30 and were all bent out of shape when ALL of the cars were'nt there by 8:00. Now I agree that 30 min is plenty of time for everybody to get there, however, when no schedule is posted, there should be a little more understanding by the people in charge!!! Don't knock the racers!!

Charlie in that case I totally understand, but just saying on a normal deal it gets old after a while.
