In 1969,,

They ran the 1969 'cuda 340 in F/SA in 1969, and then in G/SA in 1970 and 1971.

In 1972, it was classed in SS/IA

340 of course, 4 speed with a 3:91 Sure Grip. No power steering or brakes. I ordered it for the 1/4 mile.

I had a lot of fun with the car. I ran the Pure Stock classes, E/PS, at Thunder Valley, Marion, SD in the summer of 1969. Sure would like to have it now!

What were the ETs that it ran back then, Curt?

It would run 14:50's on the E-70 14 bias ply tires. I did nothing to it except check the air in the tires.

A couple of high-winding 340 small block-powered Plymouth Dusters and Dodge Dart Swinger. I sure miss Modified Eliminator. Can I get an amen?

I thought Modified Eliminator (i.e., Modified Production) rules specifically stated NO outer wheelwell modifications? And if you're gonna do it, at least do it right so it resembles the wheelwell opening on a Hurst-built 1968 Hemi Dart.

Actually, it was July or August 1989. I know 'cause I took the photos. Paul, I've got to get these and a couple of other photos of your car from that day at Raceway Park, Englishtown, NJ scanned and send them to you. Speaking of Raceway Park, what motivated you to make the trip down from New York state that day?

Thanks. Had I used the real McCoy (i.e., Photoshop) it would've turned out a lot better, i.e., indistinguishable. But it was a quickie alteration I performed using an online image editor (Pixlr) in order to make a point.

Thumbs up Re: Mopars Little A Body Terrors...

I edited my 340 'Cuda post. I found it and bought it back!

Go to my post on page 11 for the details! Happy!
