sounds like a practice tree, or a card draw race to me then.

Cameron just posted this on DRR...UPDATE: In light of pending weather at the Summit Pro-Am Tour season finale at Farmington Dragway this weekend, the schedule has been adjusted to expedite the completion of the event. There will now be one qualifying session Saturday morning at the regularly scheduled time of 9 a.m. Race 1 will be completed on Saturday followed immediately by the beginning of Race 2 Saturday evening. The IHRA will complete both Pro-Am races this weekend and will use Monday if needed. Check back with IHRA.com for updates.

We all know that they can't control the weather & they want to get it in as much as us racers want to get it in. Their hands are tied as they have no choice but stay until this race is run to completion. D9 bracket finals is at Piedmont next weekend, D1 bracket finals at Piedmont the following weekend, & then Memphis. Weather has been awful on both facilities & racers this year & it's just an unfortunate situation. See everyone there tomorrow!

Looked bad early Saturday, and after time trials it started to drizzle just enough to stop racing. We sat outside in the 'mist' for a few hours before the rains came in earnest. Decided not to stay another day, since they can't start racing till noon on Sunday, so loaded and left. The announcer was calling the Saturday cancelled as we rolled out the gate.
Hey Lew Silverman, good luck to you as we were supposed to run you first round but you'll get a gift instead! Safe racing to all who stayed. Congrats to all the winners!
