We're headed to Dallas Raceway Dan October 19th-20th for their 1st annual Southwest Domestic vs. Import shootout. I think there is a heads-up NA class we can be competitive in. If not, they have an 11.50 index class. Either way, the DA that time of year in Dallas is typically around 500' so we'll take some good launch pictures for you and see if we can't run 1 under.

Dallas Raceway is in Crandall and that's our "home" track. About 75 miles pretty much all 4-lane divided highway and 70mph. Not a bad tow at all.
What in the world is an auto train? |

Amtrak has and Auto Train where you buy a small bunk/room for two and they carry your car.
Right now the only one goes to Sanford Florida for Disney World. You have your own car in Florida. Making it less expensive to fly and rent. Takes 18 hours by train but most if the trip is sleeping. Meeting people and a nice dining experience. Only drawback for me. Wish I was in the Navy. The rail cars will rock back and forth playing with your brain. When we were there we took the SSuperwagon. Visited both Atlantic and Gulf Florida beaches. Took Maria, Maria's mom, daughter Christina to Disney World. Did a lot in a week. And experienced I-4 traffic. Dan |
