Freddie it started out tan then we painted it black. The first time we ran the car at Vidalia, GA Harvey Fountain's crew had to sweep the rust and dirt that fell from under the car. Just kidding about sweeping the track, but it was a lot of both. frankchastain

Frank,
Tweed Vorhees bought Mr. Parker's four door '66 and I think he still has the car stored in his garage.

Help, I have tried several years to get in touch with the Charlie Brown to come to the East Coast Drag Times Hall of Fame. If there ever was a "historic" Drag Race Car, Charlie Brown would be on the list. If you are a drag racer, spectator or a drag race fan you remember the Charlie Brown.

Mike if you go on this site, would you please either contact me or Nancy Wilson, "Miss Zip" and consider bringing the Charlie Brown to the Drag Race Reunion in Henderson, NC in October. If you have never attended this event I know you will have a good time and people would love seeing that car in the show.
