So does that mean the COPO's are going to get special superchargers and cams before then?

Regardless of how some of us feel about the bail out.................I really think this is good news for NHRA to attract some "new money" into the sport... My hat is off to them.

I have to agree. It's good to see some new sponsors come on board in our sport. I have really enjoyed the fact that the automakers having more presence in automotive sports. "An incoming tide lifts all boats." It's easy to hear and believe all the Doom and Gloom of how drag racing is dying but there is still interest in the sport. Just have to adapt and evolve with the times. "Who moved my cheese"

FYI for anyone who hasn't read the book "Who Moved my Cheese"; it's a fantastic book that has the power to get you ahead of the inevitable change that occurs in life. Change is coming to our sport so get ready. It's a quick 2 hour read.

^^
I wondered if some was going to know that was a title of a book. It's a quick read but has something to offer.

Ed , read the article and it states GM still owes 26.3 billion at the time it was written on 8/29/2012 and that number does not include additional money used to bailout GMAC, its a little un clear about Ford either 1/3 of 8 billion or 5.9 billion stated on page 2 . It clearly states GM owes the most and was the biggest recipient of the auto bail out and still owes the most money back to tax payers
I was not in favor of giving any auto maker or wall street any bailout .
