Arnold,

Good to hear from you.
The NHRA is taking a look at lighter weight breaks in stock. Obviously there are safety concerns and rule adjustments that need to be considered. When you look at the renewed interest in new high horsepower cars from GM, Ford and MOPAR coming down the line, as well as current A/S cars that could stand to go on a "diet", it does look like it may be time to make such a move. I have had a number of emails from other racers on this issue as well. Further input from racers on this subject is welcomed.
