Is #5 worded incorrectly or are ss/gt cars not allowed to be notched and regular ss are? If you are allowed bars I would think it would be allowed to be notched a minimum to keep from tearing up panels on stock/ ss/ and ss/gt. I have had several best engineered awards over the years on all three types and all were neatly notched for clearance. Is this something new because no one in hundreds of tech or tear downs has ever mentioned it.

The original 2013 Rules, as written, had a typographical error that said .80 overbore. It was corrected in the first update to the proper value .080.
