We fans like what you all do to your cars. To think they want you to spend more money on non sensical stuff is absurd.
What a waste of time the nhra is making you do to your cars, most important is the wasted money spent. nhra helllooooooo. let the boys play, I always watch stock and super stock and appreciate thje attention to detail the cars have. Chris |

We can run fiberglass or aluminium racing seats, fuel cells, electric water pumps, three or four speed trans in cars that never came that way, and soon maybe aluminium radators, etc.. but we can't run a hood which NHRA claims adds zero hp since they're not reducing the hp with the hood change. GO FIGURE!

"Engine/Body styles highlighted in tan are available as flat hood with battery in engine compartment OR battery relocation in trunk with hood scoop" Let me see, do I want a flat hood with the battery up front, or a scoop with the battery in the trunk? Tough decision.

Concerning the hood scoop on the mopars. In 1967 Dodge offered a WO-23 package and Plymouth offered a RO-23 package. Both cars were plain jane "B" bodies with the Super Stock race hemi engine, hood scoop, and battery in the trunk. Neither of these two cars fit in Stock eliminator. I have a listing through Chrysler tech bullitins of every mopar to leave the factory with a hood scoop. There was never a hood scoop offered or placed on a 1966 anything. When I saw the stock classification guide stating the hood scoop was legal in 66 and 67, I immediatly contected nhra and asked them how they could say something was legal when it was never made, the 1966. Then I asked them how is the 1967 legal for Stock when it was a Super Stock package only. I am still waiting for an answer.
