I have NEVER met a man that was more proud of his family, humble compassion for everyone he met than Tim. Tim is a Great Father , Very successful businessman ,a true racer in every way, that displayed sportsmanship at its finest, a man i'm very proud to call my Friend. May God Bless his family and comfort them as only he can. RIP Bud

This has had me stunned since I heard the news. There was no nicer and finer human being. Tim was a true gentleman and a deadly competitor. I am using a little more sugar tonite in my tea in his honor.

when i started going back to the races after being away for quite awhile, and was starting to build my stocker, he and i got a chance to chat at the ihra div at baton rouge, about it and he was as excited as i was bout and when i spoke to him at the sportsnationals at belle rose, it floored me that he remebered our talk and asked how the car was coming, God Speed Tim,,,

How sad to learn the tragic news of a good Cajun guy like Tim. What makes matters even worst, is Doctor Fudge could have blooned out any blockages and everted this tragic loss! You just never can tell about when your time is up. This should send a message for all the old guys to get a stress test sooner than later! Prayers to Tim Hebert and family. What a shame!

I'm shocked. Such sad news. Just when I thought I had a bad weekend at Englishtown. This really puts things into perspective. You really have to enjoy life while you can. I've only talked to Tim a handful of times but I knew the first time I met him he was a stand up guy. I'm glad I took the time to visit with him and the Teuton crew before they left Englishtown.

I teched in Tim and Lil' Joe at E-town and spent some time with both. We shared a few laughs and talked about Tim's sugar cane farming. This is such a shock ! RIP Tim.
