Aubrey, I really hate the problems you are having. These cam lifter deals are getting crazy. I just changed the cam in my Buick and have been holding my breath that I don't loose a lobe. Like you I have never had a cam on an engine I built go down but with all this oil stuff and the quality of parts I'm running a little scared. The real killer is when these high dollar "race parts" are what's killing you. I admire what you are doing and wish you the best of luck. I want to build a Buick SS/GT car but know I would be beating my head aganist the wall. I will stick to the Nostalgia index stuff for now.
