They have changed that rule in the last few years. In the past if you showed up at a National event or a points race and did not make a legal run down the track ,you did not get on the ladder. Now you do.

If a race is scheduled to have four qualifying sessions and four qualifying sessions are run and you don't make a legal pass, you will not get on the ladder. Of course, it's the division director's call and he can still put you on the ladder if he wants to.

Two years ago joe Mocci was not allowed to run at englishtown for a weight infraction. Did they change this rule recently? I do see how he would have to pass if he won first round so it kind of makes sense that he is in. I always threw extra weight in the car for Q1 just to avoid it ever happening to me but I guess I don't have to anymore.

I know its the race that never happened, but last week in Houston there was a car on the latter that never went down the track..... but like Mr. Lang said, I have no problem with it because we only got 1 pass down the track.
