But Nick, most of us are old retired guys. I heard that Jay said we would get done this time no matter how long we had to stay. Tuesday looks like the first good day. All I'm saying is that this time of year at Indy you need to take advantage of a good forecast. You should be working now instead of being on class racer .lol

I agree with Michael 100%. If it is not raining on Saturday we need to get as many rounds in as possible. I think getting 450 cars finished on Sunday alone even in good weather will be a challenge. Any chance they will change the schedule with the weather forecast?

Greg I understand that many are retired, but most our not. Would your son have missed class to run monday? NHRA needs to think about the future of thier sport. The ones that are working hard to make extra money to do this. Moving it to the next weekend was the right move. Cant always controll the weather.

LOL@Monte

We have a studder off the starting line like Mel Tillis. Casey cut a 007 light but ran a 66 on a 54.It was studdering consistently til 1st round.

I drove by the track this afternoon. To you guys that left your cars there, they all looked like they were resting safe and sound.

I wonder how many racers drove from 2 states away and now have to make the long and expensive drive again? I'm lucky and only live 2 hours away, I'm sure some have 6 to 8 hours or more to drive. I guess it's all part of racing!

Hoping for sunshine this weekend!!

Actually Greg, a lot of us still work, and we'll probably never retire because we're too stupid to quit drag racing and start saving for retirment.
