Thanks for the info Dwight I wasn't around in those days but can you tell me how many people actually campaign either of those combo's?

1969 AMX cross-ram SS package.
Factory rated at 340 HP, NHRA instantly made it 405 HP. 390/405= .9629. Today it is 407 HP or .9582 Consistently campaigned for 44 years

Most currently competing combinations from all makes fall into a power factor/displacement range of .75-.92. Some high performance version go as high as 1.1. Then the actual power produced is 60%-80% above the power factor. Just using that info for comparison, the 302/350 would need to make actual power north of 570. Is that possible? That's approaching 2 hp/cu in. |

Just a FYI the higher the number the softer the combo. In other words the .889 has more cube's per factored hp than the .86 of the 302/350 combo therefore the 302/350 combo is still the hardest factored N/A combo out of the box that I know of.
