MPH X Gear ratio X 336 divided by tire height = RPM.
You'll have to allow for converter slippage someone else could tell you more on that # but probaly 5-8% would be good guess as example figures crossing @ 7100 add 8% would be 7668 Stick car will match formula almost exactly. Can also figure converter % slippage@ top end w/this formula as close as can for guys without data recorder Mike Taylor 3601 |
